Bengal Cat Rescue (UK)

We continue to have alot of technical problems, please bear with us as we continue to improve things! Apologies for any delays in replying to emails etc.

HELP- GILBERT IS MISSING!!

Gilly the ruling Bengal at HQ, has been missing since 4th November 07. He never usually wanders far but as we were on holiday we think he may have tried to come back and failed. He has gone missing from Chellaston Derby, if any one has any information please contact us immediately.

The Auction in last year raised over £2000 for Bengal Cat Rescue and Rochdale Dog Rescue. Thank you to everyone involved for helping us with some much needed funds.  For more information please visit the Refuge.

Our mission is to re-home and rehabilitate Bengal Cats in need. Established in 2003, we are a  a non-profit rescue in the United Kingdom.

Our volunteers are Bengal enthusiasts from across the UK and we are always looking for more volunteers. Our volunteers are Bengal cat lovers from all walks of life, together we share our love of the breed and desire to save feline lives.

When you contact Bengal Cat Rescue you will most likely speaking to our Founder and National Co-Ordinator, Sarah.

Sarah Hopton  Founder of Bengal Cat Rescue (UK).

"As Founder of BCR I am responsible for the day to day running of the rescue, transport runs, home checks, fostering, finances, running the website etc etc. I also work alongside Debbie our Behaviourist supporting cats needing behavioural help and advice."

You may speak to other members of the team:

Di Collino, Area Co-Ordinator for South East

" As Area Co-ordinator Di has regional responsibility for the South East Region, which seems to have a higher number of Bengal's needing our help than else where in the UK."

Debbie Connolly, Behavioural Consultant

" Debbie brings a huge amount of experience and knowledge to BCR in terms of cat care and behavioural problems. She provides expert advice to our foster carers when cats come into our care with problems. She will also deal with private consultations through her business SafePets UK."

Not forgetting our Foster Carers:

Foster Carers are the people who house and care for the cats in our care. They know the cat inside and out, and will be your primary contact for questions about your cats temperament, behaviour and their experiences with the cat thus far.
